The Honolulu Prosecutor obtained an indictment against Tommy Chiles, 60, for the alleged assault of a Honolulu Police Officer that occurred on November 27, 2025 — just ten days after he was released on his own recognizance in a felony drug case.

On November 14, 2025, the Honolulu Prosecutor secured an indictment charging Clarence Luke, Jr., (42), with Murder in the Second Degree for the alleged killing of Jonnaven Monalim, (55).
