Man found guilty of attempted murder for shooting police officer
A jury found Tony D.V. Souza, guilty yesterday of one count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree for shooting a plainclothes police officer and one count of Attempted Assault in the Second Degree for trying to shoot another on July 29, 2019. The jury also found Souza guilty of four felony firearms offenses.
